New announcements are purple
The 2017 Directory is in the process of being edited and proofed – please see Eldora to double and triple check your information to insure its accuracy. We will also be doing a photo directory after the new year.
The Walking Club meets on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 6:00pm. We will walk in Eldora’s neighborhood this week and discuss where we will meet next week. Please email Heather at heather.featherstone1972@gmail.com or text/call her at 623-229-4214 to let her know you are coming so we don’t leave you behind.
Sunday, November 6, 10:45 am, Phoenix Central – Paul Fisher is being superannuated during the morning worship service. All are invited to attend (except Ruth, ‘cuz she has to play for TBW)
Sunday, November 13, after church – Thanksgiving Meal. Get your “tickets†from Dotti or Mary R or Amy. Please see the sign up on the board by the kitchen. We need cooks, “set-upersâ€, and “tear-downersâ€.
Saturday, December 10, 4:30-6:30 pm, at the church – Dinner Theater presented by the youth. You are invited to bring your own talents to share as well – tell a joke, read/write a poem, sing, dance, do cartwheels or whatever you consider a talent
Saturday, December 24, 5:00pm – Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. There will be NO services on Sunday, December 25, so plan to attend on Saturday evening. Invite a friend, bring a stranger. Carpooling is encouraged (especially if you have difficulty seeing after dark). Contact Heather Featherstone if you need help in arranging a carpooling buddy.
