Thank you so much for those that have stepped up and volunteered. We just need planners and/or presiders for the following Sundays in March and April. The themes are below – if you want to plan, preside or speak for any of the themes, please let Heather know.

We are putting together a photo directory this year. Photos will be taken until Sunday, February 26. If you haven’t had your photo taken by then you will not be in the photo directory. You can still send a copy of a photo to thunderbirdwest.cofchrist@gmail.com before the end of February or if you would like to make arrangements to have your photo taken at your home, please contact Heather Featherstone at heather.featherstone1972@gmail.com.

Do you have a food allergy? Are you vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free or “other” free? If so, please let a member of the Fellowship Committee know (Madelyn, Mary D, or Donna G) so they can plan for our upcoming events to ensure that everyone can enjoy the time together.

Saturday, February 18, 7:00-8:30 pm @ Phx Central – Storytellers Event to kick off Winter Reunion. Our own Kevin Harper will be sharing stories of his early family experience with the church as well as Barb Walden and Tom Morain. A donation opportunity for the Alma Blair Internship Program will be available for those interested in supporting this unique educational opportunity for young adults.

February 19-24: Winter Reunion at Phoenix Central. Guest Ministers: Apostle Robin Linkhart; Tom Morain, Historic Sites Foundation; Larry McGuire, AZ Mission Center President. Theme: Fully Awake and Ready to Respond. Registration forms are available on the bulletin board.

Monday, February 20, Phoenix Central: Youth sponsored lunch fundraiser. Youth are asked to be at Phoenix Central by 10:30 and plan to stay until about 1:30 to help prepare, serve and clean up after lunch.

Saturday, February 25, 10:00am – Work day at the church. If you are able bodied and can assist with a few things around the church, please plan to attend. Class room cabinets cleaned out and organized, storage rooms organized and inventoried, kitchen inventory, flooring in attic and wall repairs will be done.

Sunday, February 26, 2:00pm, at the church – Sigma Alpha Iota Phoenix Alumnae Chapter (Heather’s music group) invites you to attend our annual Silver Tea Musicale Recital. This performance is open to all, so bring a friend with you. A free-will donation will be accepted to help us meet our financial goals for the year. No one has been disappointed yet – it’s well worth the hour or so – promise.

Sunday, March 12, after services – Sandwich Bar Lunch and Sequence Tournament. The fellowship committee will prepare the food. (A free will offering will be accepted to cover the cost of the food.) Please plan to join us for food, fun, and fellowship.
