Beginning Sunday, April 9, will be the adult class will study the book, Speak to The Bones (How to Be a Prophetic people in a Time of Exile, by Richard A. Brown. The book is available through Amazon.com. Richard Brown is a graduate of the University of Missouri and Park College, with degrees in Journalism and a Masters of Religion. He served as an editor for Herald House Publishing for 23 years and as managing editor for the Herald magazine. In the book, he addresses the problem of falling church attendance, which he attributes to a lack of prophetic ministry. In lessons on God’s prophets throughout history, he tries to answer the questions, what is a prophet called to do, and how we as a prophetic people are to answer that call? Dulcy Silverthorn will lead the class and invites you to take part in what promises to be an interesting way to approach our 21st century church.
