New announcements are purple

Halloween Rest Stop is just around the corner. Kyle and Carla are looking for candy and baked goods donations as well as volunteers to help set up, run and tear down for the event.

The 2017 Directory is in the process of being edited and proofed – please see Eldora to double and triple check your information to insure its accuracy. We will also be doing a photo directory after the new year.

Alyssa Brittan is selling candy bars to assist her dance troupe. Only $1 each!

The Walking Club meets on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 6:00pm. We will walk in Eldora’s neighborhood this week and discuss where we will meet next week. Sunday, October 30, 9:30am – Budget meeting – we will vote on the budget (get a copy of it here – http://tinyurl.com/zzh2gf5), sustaining World Church appointed officers (CFO, Recorder, and Historian) as well as the following: Please prayerfully consider committing to a congregational blessing. This would require a commitment from members of the congregation to pray and study as directed by the Evangelist.

Sunday, November 13, after church – Thanksgiving Meal. Please see the sign up on the board by the kitchen. We need cooks, “set-upers”, and “tear-downers”.

Saturday, December 10, 4:30-6:30 pm, at the church – Dinner Theater presented by the youth. You are invited to bring your own talents to share as well – tell a joke, read/write a poem, sing, dance, do cartwheels or whatever you consider a talent 

Saturday, December 24, 5:00pm – Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. There will be NO services on Sunday, December 25, so plan to attend on Saturday evening. Invite a friend, bring a stranger. Carpooling is encouraged (especially if you have difficulty seeing after dark). Contact Heather Featherstone if you need help in arranging a carpooling buddy.
