HELP – Missing Table Cloths. We need help in locating 14 missing round red table cloths that we had planned to use for our Valentine Luncheon. If anyone knows where these table cloths might be, please contact Madelyn
We are putting together a photo directory this year. Photos will be start being taken on Sunday, February 5. If you would rather submit a family photo rather than take one at church, please have a copy sent to thunderbirdwest.cofchrist@gmail.com before the end of February.

Beth Richardson has suggested that anyone who is interested in gaining a little insight to children with autism like our friend Carter to read the book “The Reason I Jump†by Noaki Higashida. You can buy it online here – http://tinyurl.com/j92q4ha (if you have a Kindle, it’s only $1.99) or you can find it at your local library.
Do you have a food allergy? Are you vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free or “other†free? If so, please let a member of the Fellowship Committee know (Madelyn, Mary D, or Donna G) so they can plan for our upcoming events to ensure that everyone can enjoy the time together.
Sunday, January 29, 9:30am: The Pastoral Care Committee is meeting to make plans for the year. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please plan to attend. If you can’t make the meeting, please let Diane Sloan know of your interest.
Sunday, January 29 after church – Youth Hike. Meet at Freddie’s for lunch and then over to Thunderbird Park for hike. ALL ARE INVITED – youth or youth-at-heart. Kevin and Robyn want you to know that although they are planning youth activities, everyone is invited – the more the merrier.
Saturday, February 12 – Youth Craft Event, more details to come.
Wednesday, February 8, 6:00pm – Diner’s Group is meeting at Portofino’s Restaurant, 12851 W. Bell Road, Suite 15, Surprise AZ. Please RSVP to Sandy Decker by Tuesday, February 7 – 623-202-3516 so she can make the reservations. All are invited.
Sunday, February 12 in the morning – Blood Drive. Contact Kyle Brittan to set up a time to donate.
Sunday, February 12, after church – Valentine’s Day Lunch. The Fellowship Committee will prepare the food (A free will offering will be accepted to cover the cost of the food.). So please plan to stay after church to enjoy some good food, fellowship and fun. We would also invite each of you to help assemble our Valentine project of making Valentines for the residents of the Glencroft Nursing Home where Diane Sloan works. We also need volunteers to help on clean up.
February 19-24: Winter Reunion at Phoenix Central. Guest Ministers: Apostle Robin Linkhart; Tom Morain, Historic Sites Foundation; Larry McGuire, AZ Mission Center President. Theme: Fully Awake and Ready to Respond. Registration forms are here.
Saturday, February 25, 10:00am – Work day at the church. If you are able bodied and can assist with a few things around the church, please plan to attend. A list of what needs to be done will be out soon.
Sunday, February 26, 2:00pm, at the church – Sigma Alpha Iota Phoenix Alumnae Chapter (Heather’s music group) invites you to attend our annual Silver Tea Musicale Recital. This performance is open to all, so bring a friend with you. A free-will donation will be accepted to help us meet our financial goals for the year. No one has been disappointed yet – it’s well worth the hour or so – promise. J
